Subject: #2465: Hey Rich or anybody than can take a guess. Set up question.

I feel like I need more height on the motor. The hole shot is bad when loaded but runs fine on the pad however you load it. I needs to turn more RPMS. Running a 13x20 and have run a 13.25x23 with just me in it turns at 5500 RPM with the 23 and around 56 mph gps. With load on the 20 runs at 5500 rpm at 48-51 GPS. I need to be able to run up to about 5800 loaded with 22 or 23. I have a 13x20 on it now. Michigan Wheel Rapture. I really do not want to put on a jack plate as I feel it will screw the hole shot up worse on a Ranger with the built in Setback.

Rich, it has two holes left to go up.

BTW, I put a link on the website of our club for you. I copied it off here I hope you guys don't mind. www.bigcedar.freewebtools.com

    See if this helps.

You really need to reconsider a plate. A 4" would make a world of difference in what you can do with the set up and the props you can run. Do not go over 4"'s though. Not a problem on the link thing. If I knew how to use Front page I would return the link favor but at this time I have no idea how to do it. Thanks,
