Can someone fill me in on how aerators work.On my little bassboat there is a pump that fills the livewell.Does the same pump aerate the livewell or is there a separate pump for that?There was a timer on the boat that you could set that would turn it off and on but that stopped working .

    Check out ( www.flow-rite.com )for more info. Your pump aerates ( spray ) the water as it fills the well, to recirculate there's usually a valve that closes off. Then the pump recirculates the water in the well. I turn on my well when the first fish goes in along with fish medics and turn them off when I take the fish to the scale.
